NWSC UPDATE: Water Supply Interruption in Kampala East Water Supply Zone

KAMPALA: Following 72 hours of non-stop works at the Katosi water works, National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) experienced a re-occurence on the DN1400 bulk water transmission main, necessitating the need for closure and resumption of works.

To note, this is the biggest bulk water transmission main in Uganda and requires specialist engineering solutions to correct the failure.

A team of specialist engineers is working around the clock to address this failure and subsequently restore supplies in the shortest time possible.
